Releasing Old Cards, Welcoming New Ones

Love & RelationshipsMinh Anh (cộng đồng)·
Reading context: A personal reflection following the end of a relationship, drawn in response to sharing one's story.

I shared my story through melaap.app that evening. That night, I drew a single card: Death, upright. For the first time, I was not afraid of it.

It did not speak of the relationship dying in agony. It spoke of a chapter completed. I wept, and then I slept more peacefully than I had in many nights.

Lessons learned

Death, when we stop fighting it, names our endings with grace. In that naming, we find permission to rest—not because what was has been erased, but because it has been honored as complete.
