XVI — The Devil

Upright: Unlawful passion, desire, temptation, transgression of social boundaries, immorality, exceptional talent turned dark, negativity, fear, rage, resentment, obstruction, misalignment, infidelity, secret love.

Reversed: Breaking free from illicit attachment, liberation from chains, defiance of convention, escape, harm inflicted, release of craving, curses, intense longing, unfavorable circumstances, blind judgment.

XVII — The Tower

Upright: Relationships shattered, situations beyond repair, collapse, loss, destruction, devastation, chaos, accident, sorrow, separation, disappointment, need for support, a life requiring rebuilding.

Reversed: Complete ruin, everything corrupted, no path to restoration, loss, instability, violence, misfortune.

XVIII — The Star

Upright: A future luminous with hope, rebirth, boundless possibility, aspiration, goals achieved, vitality, innocence, beauty, good fortune, body and spirit restored, auspicious timing, peaceful living, harmonious surroundings.

Reversed: Fragile hope, lost faith, lost moorings, abandoned purpose, melancholy, surrender, stagnation, excessive idealism, imagination untethered, rigidity of thought.

XIX — The Moon

Upright: Negative emotion, instability, fear, oppressive atmosphere, darkness, despair, fantasy, evasion of truth, unknown dangers, unpredictable threats, delusion, unreality, drowning, stubbornness.

Reversed: Emerging from collapse, mood stabilized, shadows lifting, new light appearing, fear overcome, reason reclaimed, reality clarified, desire released, practical spirit, deception dispelled.

XX — The Sun

Upright: Bright prospects, the pinnacle of fortune, success, clarity and reason, ardent love, blessed marriage, joyful season, ease, delight, achievement, satisfaction, abundant vitality.

Reversed: Passion dimming, light fading, failure, parting, arrogance, lost direction, depleted energy, no future, scarcity, joylessness.

XXI — Judgement

Upright: Rebirth, awakening, renewed perspective, freedom from constraint, contentment, suffering ended, fresh inspiration, a new beginning.

Reversed: Injustice, inability to progress, the past repeating itself, rigid thinking, self-regard, narrow vision, regret, self-reproach, discontent, failure.

XXII — The World

Upright: Perfect completion, a new dawn, a beautiful chapter of life, goals realized, freedom, wholeness, harmony of soul, absolute confidence, profound change, results long anticipated.

Reversed: Imperfection, the end of what was, lost self-worth, suffering, pessimism, irreversible damage, stalled progress, fragmentation.

What These Seven Cards Reveal

These seven cards inhabit the realm of illumination—the space where thought touches action, where the unconscious meets reality. This is the highest threshold, one few traverse with conscious intention.

Few escape the material, image-bound way of seeing to reach genuine awakening—that place where the unconscious speaks to the world, where we dance alongside our own becoming.
