When to Pull Tarot—and When Not To

Ethics and boundaries — tarot serves you, it doesn't control you.

When You Should Pull

  • You need a fresh perspective on a situation you've already thought through
  • You're ready to act on the insight (even a small one)
  • You record and review your readings to learn patterns

When You Shouldn't Pull

  • Panic / emotional crisis — call a friend or professional first
  • Replacing a doctor, lawyer — tarot doesn't diagnose medical or legal matters
  • Asking the same question repeatedly — "shopping for answers" dilutes your intuition
  • Trying to control someone else — "Are they having an affair?" crosses a boundary

The "One Question, One Reading" Rule

Professional readers typically limit themselves to: one session, one primary topic. Melaap encourages you to do the same — quality over quantity.

Tarot and Personal Responsibility

The cards suggest — you decide. Melaap doesn't issue absolute commands. If a single pull leaves you fearful rather than clear, take a break and come back later.
