I pulled Judgement upright after months of silence and wanted it to mean he would come back. My reader did not let me hide inside that hope. She said Judgement is an awakening card, not an automatic reunion card. So I wrote the letter I wanted to send and kept it in my drawer. It was the first time I told the truth without trying to win a response. Six months later, we met as different people. Whether or not we reconciled mattered less than the fact that I had finally answered myself.
